Los Angeles, California, and Kingston, Ontario – Fenix Alma Solutions Inc., a leader in purpose-built educational technology solutions for health sciences education, is proud to announce its collaboration with the Keck School of Medicine of USC through the implementation of VidaNovaVLE®, the company’s comprehensive virtual learning environment designed specifically for medical and health sciences education.

The alliance reflects the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s continued commitment to innovation and excellence in medical education as the institution modernizes and streamlines key educational workflows through a more integrated, purpose-built platform.

VidaNovaVLE® will provide the Keck School of Medicine of USC with an integrated ecosystem for curriculum delivery, learning management, curriculum mapping, assessment, scheduling, evaluation, engagement, analytics, and educational administration, all within a platform designed specifically to support the evolving needs of medical education.

Throughout the evaluation and onboarding process, the teams at the Keck School of Medicine of USC and Fenix Alma Solutions worked closely together to explore opportunities to consolidate and modernize workflows that had historically existed across multiple systems and processes. The medical school was particularly interested in VidaNovaVLE®’s flexibility, deeply integrated architecture, collaboration-driven product philosophy, and focus on the unique operational realities of medical education.

“Implementing VidaNovaVLE® represents an exciting step forward for our institution,” said Teresa Cook, Assistant Dean of Educational Administration at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. “We were looking for a modern, flexible platform capable of supporting the complexity of medical education while also providing a more connected and streamlined experience for our students, faculty, and administrative teams. The responsiveness, collaboration, and deep understanding of medical education demonstrated by the Fenix Alma Solutions team have made this an incredibly positive collaboration so far.”

The transition represents a modernization initiative for the institution, moving away from legacy educational technology approaches toward a more comprehensive and integrated ecosystem designed specifically for health sciences education. VidaNovaVLE®’s configurable curriculum mapping, scheduling, assessment, evaluation, reporting, and learner engagement capabilities will help support the institution’s continued focus on innovation and operational excellence.

“Welcoming the Keck School of Medicine of USC to the VidaNovaVLE® community is an incredible honour for our team,” said Andrew Dos-Santos, Founder, President, and CEO of Fenix Alma Solutions Inc. “The Keck School of Medicine of USC is an exceptionally innovative institution with a strong commitment to continuously improving the learner, faculty, and administrative experience. Their team conducted a thoughtful and collaborative evaluation process, and we were incredibly impressed by both their vision for the future and the level of engagement from stakeholders across the organization. We are extremely proud they selected VidaNovaVLE® and are excited about the partnership and innovation ahead.”

VidaNovaVLE® continues to gain momentum across North America as medical schools and health sciences programs seek modern, flexible, and deeply integrated educational technology ecosystems purpose-built for the evolving needs of health professions education.
