KINGSTON, ON — Fenix Alma Solutions Inc. is proud to announce that Baylor College of Medicine has officially selected VidaNovaVLE™ as their enterprise platform to deliver, track, and assess their undergraduate medical education curriculum following a highly successful six-month pilot.

During the pilot phase, Baylor tested all aspects of VidaNovaVLE™, including curriculum delivery, assessment, scheduling, and discussion-based engagement. Following this comprehensive evaluation, Michael Cannon, Lead, Academic Operations, shared:

“Our experience with VidaNovaVLE™ during the pilot exceeded expectations. Fenix Alma Solutions offers product flexibility and exceptional customer service. We were more than happy to move to full implementation.”

As part of the pilot, Fenix Alma Solutions worked closely with Baylor to enhance workplace-based assessment (WBA) capabilities. The collaboration focused on supporting Baylor’s phased approach to assessment, which required a highly configurable structure to ensure the appropriate individuals completed the correct portions of each multi-phased assessment form. This refinement now benefits all partner institutions using VidaNovaVLE™. Hugh A. Stoddard, Associate Dean for Evaluation, Assessment, and Education Research, stated:

“VidaNovaVLE allows us to integrate student and program data management into a one-stop solution.  We are pleased with how it has helped us address the complexity of Competency Based Medical Education assessment and actualize our program goals and values.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Baylor College of Medicine as a full VidaNovaVLE™ partner,” said Andrew Dos-Santos, Founder and CEO of Fenix Alma Solutions. “Their thoughtful, forward-looking approach to assessment and academic operations aligns closely with our commitment to delivering innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions.”

With Baylor joining a growing list of leading institutions selecting VidaNovaVLE™, Fenix Alma Solutions remains committed to its purpose-built, partner-driven model. The team looks forward to continued collaboration with Baylor and other institutions to ensure VidaNovaVLE™ remains the vanguard of educational technology in medical education.
