We are thrilled to announce that Dr. David M.C. Walker, a distinguished leader in healthcare and academia, has joined the Advisory Board of Fenix Alma Solutions.
Dr. Walker is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Queen’s University, cross-appointed to the School of Policy Studies, and a member of the consultant staff at Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC). Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Walker has held numerous leadership roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen’s University and CEO of the Southeastern Ontario Academic Medical Organization (SEAMO).
With a career spanning emergency medicine, public health policy, and academic administration, Dr. Walker brings a wealth of experience to Fenix Alma Solutions. He has served in key leadership positions such as President of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians, Chair of the Council of Ontario Faculties of Medicine, and President of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. His influence extends to government advisory roles, where he has contributed to policy discussions on public health, infectious disease control, and long-term care.
Dr. Walker’s expertise will provide invaluable guidance as Fenix Alma Solutions continues to innovate and grow in the field of Health Sciences Education technology. His contributions will support our mission to revolutionize learning through VidaNovaVLE™ and other advancements.
