KINGSTON, ON — Fenix Alma Solutions Inc. recently announced the release of VidaNovaVLE® 3.0, marking a major milestone in the continued evolution of its purpose-built learning environment for health sciences education.
This milestone has been a long time coming. In truth, the announcement could have been made earlier. But when a development team moves as quickly as ours does, there is always one more enhancement, one more feature, and one more improvement we want to include before calling a version complete.
“VidaNovaVLE® 3.0 represents a significant step forward for institutions managing increasingly complex health sciences programs,” said Andrew Dos-Santos, Founder, President, and CEO of Fenix Alma Solutions Inc. “Each new capability reflects our commitment to building technology in close partnership with the educators and institutions we serve.”
Key highlights in Version 3.0 include:
Configurable Competency Education Dashboards, enabling institutions to visualize learner progress in ways that align with their program structures
Practicum Lottery functionality, simplifying the allocation of clinical placements and experiential learning opportunities
Leave of Absence module, supporting structured workflows for managing student leaves while maintaining program continuity
Custom Dashboard Widgets, allowing institutions to tailor dashboards with the information most relevant to faculty and administrative teams
And more
Each enhancement in Version 3.0 was developed in close collaboration with our institutional partners. The goal is simple: help schools manage increasingly complex programs, improve operational efficiency, and provide educators with clearer insights into learner performance.
Over the coming weeks, we will be highlighting many of these new capabilities in greater detail and sharing how institutions are already leveraging them to strengthen operations and enhance the learner experience.
While Version 3.0 represents an important milestone, it is not the finish line.
Work on the VidaNovaVLE 4.0 roadmap began earlier this year, and development continues at full speed. As always, our focus remains on evolving alongside the educators and institutions shaping the future of health sciences education.
We extend our sincere thanks to our partners and community, whose collaboration and insight continue to shape the platform’s direction.
Purpose-built. Partner-driven.
